Animal/Life Stage

According to the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention, an estimated 53 percent of dogs and 58 percent of cats in the United States are overweight or obese. Excess weight in animals places them at similar risks as humans, including osteoarthritis, type 2 diabetes, heart and respiratory ailments, cancer and a nearly 2.5 years decrease in life expectancy.

Super Model In a Bottle may be used holistically to help obese and overweight dogs and cats as a reducing agent to burn dietary fat and may contribute to a balanced weight loss regimen by supporting healthy metabolic rate, nutrient absorption and colon health by reducing high cholesterol and triglycerides (two types of fat lipids that are stored in the blood). One of the main components of Super Model in a Bottle is carnitine (Acetyl-L-carnitine); a substance that helps speed up fat metabolism, its fiber content may aid in elimination as well as help turn body fat into energy.(* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

Super Model's "super powers" may be due to an amazing array of natural plant chemicals including a variety of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, 15 amino acids, 11 polyphenols, 13 alkaloids, beta-sitosterol, triterpenes, proteins, flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), tannins, trimethylated amino acid, L-carnitine and much more. That's an impressive list!

Additionally, Super Model in a Bottle may help support balanced weight loss by releasing stored fat without compromising physical health and vital organs such as the heart, kidneys and liver; by supporting the pituitary glands release of TSH and hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) and may help support proper regulation of the thyroid gland, which can impact digestion, body weight, heart rate and reproductive function.(* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

Super Model in a Bottle may also be used holistically to help improve circulation and flush excess water from the body; may help address carnitine and taurine deficiency (usually present in heart disease and Congestive Heart Failure) and is often associated with weight gain; for its potential effects to support heart health and may reduce symptoms related to angina, heart failure and all types of Heart Disease, including Peripheral Vascular Disease; as a mild diuretic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may eliminate and inhibit bad LDL cholesterol absorption. (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

It is understood that all systems of the animal body, like humans, work together synergistically. If one system is out of balance, all systems are affected. Super Model in a Bottle may work to help support immunity; may help fight free radicals (associated with causing disease); may help boost brain, muscle, heart and tissue performance and may also help support cognitive health by helping to prevent plague build up in the brain associated with Alzheimer's and dementia. (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

Since the kidneys are charged with producing carnitine, it may be useful for dogs and cats with kidney disease; may help reduce pain and increase feeling in nerves affected by diabetic neuropathy and may also help to regenerate damaged nerves.

Last but certainly not least, Super Model in a Bottle may be used holistically to help reduce the negative effects of chemotherapy; may help reduce symptoms related to cataracts; Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD); Leaky Gut syndrome (LGS); for neuropathy and may help support healthy skin and coat. Super Model in a Bottle is not a replacement for good nutrition or an exercise regimen. (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

Feeding Instructions

Contraindications

For Garlic: None known or reported. Whole garlic should not be given to dogs or cats. This product does not contain whole garlic parts or pieces.

For Green Tea: Do not use if your pet is pregnant or nursing or suffers from liver dysfunction. Do not use if your pet is sensitive or allergic to caffeine as it can cause insomnia, anxiety, irritability, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, or frequent urination in some people. Green tea contains small amounts of vitamin K, which can make anticoagulant drugs, such as warfarin, less effective.

For Berenjena: The seeds of the plant contain neurotoxic chemicals and should not be ingested. Chemicals found in berenjena have been documented to have abortive actions. Berenjena itself has been documented with a mild uterine stimulant effect, therefore; its use during pregnancy is not advised.

For Acetyl-L carnitine: Do not use if your pet is pregnant or nursing. Do not use for animals who have an under-active thyroid (hypothyroidism) or suffer from seizures. DO NOT USE DL-carnitine or D-carnitine as these can cause angina, muscle pain, loss of muscle function.

Drug Interactions

For Garlic: Garlic might reduce how much isoniazid (Nydrazid, INH) the body absorbs and may interact with medications used for HIV/AIDS (Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NNRTIs)). Saquinavir (Fortovase, Invirase), and Cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune) interacts with GARLIC. Medications changed by the liver (Cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) substrates) interacts with GARLIC Garlic oil might decrease how quickly the liver breaks down some medications. Garlic might slow blood clotting and may interact with Warfarin (Coumadin) used to slow blood clotting.

For Green Tea: Quinolone antibiotics, anticoagulants, antiplatelets, atropine, iron supplements, codeine and bortezomib treatments interact with Green Tea. Adenosine (Adenocard) interacts with Green Tea. Some antibiotics that decrease how quickly the body breaks down caffeine include ciprofloxacin (Cipro), enoxacin (Penetrex), norfloxacin (Chibroxin, Noroxin), sparfloxacin (Zagam), trovafloxacin (Trovan), and grepafloxacin (Raxar). The EGCG and other polyphenols in green tea can inhibit the therapeutic effect of bortezomib (Velcade) and other boronic acid based proteasome inhibitors (37). Cimetidine (Tagamet) interacts with Green Tea. The caffeine content in green tea may inhibit the hemodynamic effects of adenosine (Adenocard). The tannin content in green tea may reduce the absorption of atropine and codeine. Caffeine in green tea may increase PT / PTT. Possible interactions with adenosine, Beta-lactam, Benzodiazepines, Beta-blockers, Propranolol and Metoprolo, Blood thinners such as Coumadin, chemotherapy medications such as doxorubicin and tamoxifen, Clozapine (Clozaril), Ephedrine, Lithium, MAOI's including Isocarboxazid (Marplan). Moclobemide, (Manerix), Phenelzine (Nardil) and Tranylcypromine (Parnate) and Phenylpropanolamine, acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Carbamazepine (Tegretol), Dipyridamole (Persatine), estrogen, Fluvoxamine (Luvox), Methotrexate, Mexiletine (Mexitil), Phenobarbital, Theophylline and Verapamil (Bosoptin, Calan, Covera- HS, Verelan, Verelan PM.

For Berenjena: None known.

For Acetyl-L carnitine: Do not take with Acenocoumarol (Sintrom). Use caution with Warfarin (Coumadin), AZT, Doxorubicin, Isotretinoin or Valproic acid. Avoid using with D-carnitine supplements. Acenocoumarol (Sintrom) is used to slow blood clotting. Acetyl-L-carnitine might increase the effectiveness of acenocoumarol (Sintrom). Increasing the effectiveness of acenocoumarol (Sintrom) might slow blood clotting too much. Your pet's dosage of acenocoumarol (Sintrom) might need to be changed.

Cautions

For Garlic: Do not exceed suggested dosage. Garlic contains a compound called n-propyldisulfide can, which in large doses, can cause oxidative damage to red blood cells, which can lead to Heinz-body anemia and even death. Garlic should NOT be fed to pets with a pre-existing anemic condition or to those scheduled for surgery. Also, young puppies before six to eight weeks of age should NOT be given garlic because they do not begin reproducing new blood cells until after 6-8 weeks. Do not use garlic two weeks prior to surgery. Garlic can irritate the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Use with caution if your pet has stomach or digestion problems.

For Green Tea: Cautioned for patients undergoing bortezomib treatment. Tannins may reduce absorption and bioavailability of codeine, atropine, and iron supplements. Use caution if your pet has peptic ulcers because it can stimulate the production of gastric acid. Green Tea may make anemia worse. Caffeine contained in Green Tea might increase the risk of bleeding so talk to your Vet before administrating to a dog/cat with a bleeding disorder. Caffeine in green tea might cause irregular heartbeat. Green tea extract supplements have been linked to several cases of liver damage. Green tea extracts might make liver disease worse.

For Berenjena: Do not use if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Do not use if you are allergic to eggplant or any plants within the nightshade family.

For Acetyl-L carnitine: Cautioned for use in young dogs and cats and animals with liver of kidney diseases. Can cause upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, and restlessness, a "fishy" odor of the urine, breath, and sweat. Use caution if your cat/dog is diabetic or has a known allergy or hypersensitivity to carnitine.
